Navy School Teacher Vacancy Eligibility Criteria

(a) PGT (History)

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Master’s Degree in relevant subject completed as regular course with at least 55% marks from a recognised university/ institution.

(iii) Bachelor of Education Degree in relevant subject or equivalent completed as a regular course from a University/ Institution recognised by Govt of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ National Council of Teacher Education with at least 50% marks.

(iv) Should have studied requisite subject at both Senior Secondary and Graduation levels.

(v) Preference should be given to candidates having experience of teaching relevant subject in recognised CBSE School(s).

(b) TGT (MATHS)

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelors Degree in relevant subject studied as a regular course and qualified with at least 55% marks with relevant subject from a recognised university/ institution.

(iii) Bachelor of Education Degree in relevant subject or equivalent completed as a regular course from a University/ Institution recognised by Govt of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ National Council of Teacher Education with at least 50% marks.

(iv) Should have studied the relevant subject at Sr Secondary also.

(v) Preference should be given to the candidates having regular Masters’ Degree in relevant subject from a recognised university and/or experience of teaching in relevant subject in recognised CBSE school(s).

(c) PRIMARY TEACHER

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelors Degree completed as a regular course from any recognised University/ Institution, with minimum 55% marks aggregate and Bachelor of Education/ D El Ed or equivalent completed as a regular course from a University/ Institution recognised by Govt of India/ UGC/ AICTE/ National Council of Teacher Education with at least 50% marks.

(d) ART & CRAFT TEACHER

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Graduation in Art & Craft Education/ BA with Drawing and Painting/ Art/ Fine Art with minimum 2 Years full time Diploma in Painting/ Fine Art. OR Higher Secondary with minimum 4 Years full time diploma in Painting/ Fine Art from the UGC recognised Institution/ Universities.

(iii) Preference will be given to candidates having experience of teaching in reputed primary/ secondary public school(s).

(e) LIBRARIAN

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Bachelors Degree in any subject with One year Diploma in Library Science completed as a regular course from any University/ Institution recognised by the Govt of India/ UGC/ AICTE, with minimum 55% marks aggregate in the relevant subject.

(f) DANCE TEACHER

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelor Degree in Dance (Multiple forms) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor Degree in any subject with Diploma in Dance from a recognised Institution.

(iii) Experience in relevant post in recognised CBSE schools would be desirable.

(g) MUSIC TEACHER

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelor Degree in Music (Instrumental – Rhythm & Melody) with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor Degree in any subject with Diploma in Instrumental music from a recognised Institution.

(iii) Experience in relevant post in recognised CBSE schools would be desirable.

(h) OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised university/ Institution with at least 50% marks.

Any other equivalent qualification approved by Rehabilitation Council of India as a regular course and qualified with at least 50% marks from recognised university/ institution.

(iii) Valid registration with Rehabilitation Council of India.

(iv) Preference should be given to candidates having experience as Occupational Therapist in recognised hospital/ Institutional.

(j) SPEECH THERAPIST

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from a recognised university/ Institution with at least 50% marks.

Any other equivalent qualification approved by Rehabilitation Council of India as a regular course and qualified with at least 50% marks from recognised university/ institution.

(iii) Valid registration with Rehabilitation Council of India.

(iv) Preference should be given to candidates having experience as Occupational Therapist in recognised hospital/ Institutional.

(k) CAREER COUNSELLOR

(i) Age limit. 21 to 50 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Graduate/ Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling.

(iii) Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India would be desirable.

(iv) Preference should be given to candidates having experience of teaching in reputed Foundational and Preparatory stage / CBSE/ school(s).

(l) SUPPORT STAFF

(i) Age Limit. 21 to 35 years as on 01 Jul of academic year for which appointment is being made into effect.

(ii) Academic/ Experience.

(aa) Pass in Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board. Educational qualification is not mandatory for Support Staff to be predominantly employed as Safaiwala/ Sahayika/ Ayah/ Mali.

(ab) Ability to communicate effectively.

(m) OTHER COMMON REQUIREMENTS. All teaching and nonteaching staff shall have the following common parameters: –

(i) Should have good personality with excellent communication skills in English and ability to communicate in Hindi.

(ii) Should have working knowledge of Computer/ AI tools/ ERP software/ LMS packages and should be proficient in using Microsoft Office software.

(iii) The upper age limit for ex- Naval School staff (except Support staff) be relaxed by the number of years of their carried forward experience of working in previous Naval School, subject to the individuals age not exceeding 55 years.

(iv) Should be physically and medically fit.
