Rajbhasha Officer Vacancy 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either:—
a) a citizen of India, or
b) a subject of Nepal, or
c) a subject of Bhutan, or
d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Rajbhasha Officer Jobs Age Limit
Age Limit:- Candidates age should be between 21 years to 30 years as on 01.12.2023. Age Relaxation is given to the reserved category candidates.
Age Relaxation:-
- 5 Years age relaxation is given to the Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes.
- 3 Years for Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non creamy layer)
- 10 Years age relaxation is given to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”
- 5 Years age relaxation is given to the Ex-Serviceman
- 3 Years age relaxation is given to the Defence service personnel disabled in operation during the hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as consequence thereof.
- 9 Years age relaxation is given to the Widows, Divorced women and women legally separated from their Husbands, who have not remarried
- 8 Years age relaxation is given to the Existing confirmed employees of Public Sector General Insurance Companies (including GIC & Agriculture Insurance Company of India Ltd.)
Rajbhasha Officer Salary
Rajbhasha Officer Salary:- Candidates who are going to be appointed staffs at above mention post will get a salary of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 85,000/- per month.
Rajbhasha Officer Recruitment Selection Process
Part A – Applicable for all applicants other than for Hindi Officers.
The written exam will be conducted in two phases
Phase – I: Preliminary Examination online
Phase – II: Main Examination online
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (applicable for all disciplines except for Hindi Officers)
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 100 marks will be conducted online (applicable for all disciplines except Hindi Officers). This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Candidates have to qualify in each test/section by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Company (approximately 15 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
Phase – II: Main Examination online (applicable for all disciplines except for Hindi Officers)
Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 250 marks and Descriptive Test for 30 Marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 3 Hours duration consists of five & six sections for Generalists & Specialists respectively for total 250 Marks:

The online written exam of 3 Hours 30 Minutes duration will be conducted in a single phase for Hindi (Rajbhasha) Officers:

Generalist & Specialist Candidates who have been shortlisted based on online Phase – II (Mains Examination) and Hindi (Rajbhasha) Candidates who have been shortlisted based on the online written examination will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. Candidates are required to download their interview call letters from company’s website.
